The New Gnomes of Zurich: The Spiess-Jehovah’s Witnesses Case and Its Manipulation by Anti-Cult and Russian Propaganda – Free book download

The controversial 2019 decision by the District Court of Zurich acquitting anti-cult activist Regina Spiess from charges of defamation filed against her by the Swiss Jehovah’s Witnesses has been widely used for an international campaign of propaganda against the Jehovah’s Witnesses, involving anti-cult activists and the Russian government.

The campaign focuses on issues such as the disfellowshipping procedure among Jehovah’s Witnesses, the shunning of disfellowshipped ex-members, and the handling of cases of sexual abuse.

CESNUR’s Massimo Introvigne and London-based human rights attorney and president of the European Federation for Freedom of Belief, Alessandro Amicarelli, have teamed up to produce a book dealing with the Spiess case and the broader related issues.
